Airbus A320 Type Rating Course
Course Objective
The course is designed to provide pilots with the theoretical knowledge, simulator training, and flight training required to obtain an Airbus A320 Type Rating. The program complies with the applicable aviation authority requirements and prepares pilots for safe and efficient operation of the Airbus A320 in a multi-crew environment.
Course Content
This course includes:
- Aircraft systems and technical knowledge.
- Aircraft performance, limitations, and operational procedures.
- Normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures.
- Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) and
Crew Resource Management (CRM). - Full Flight Simulator (FFS) training.
- Skill Test preparation and proficiency assessment.
Expected Learning OutcomesThe candidate will be able to:
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Airbus A320 systems.
- Operate the aircraft safely under normal and abnormal conditions.
- Apply SOPs and CRM principles effectively.
- Successfully complete the A320 Type Rating Skill Test.
Additional InformationOptional training such as Zero Flight Time Training (ZFTT), Base Training, or operator-specific differences training may be conducted subject to regulatory and airline requirements.
